DESCRIPTION: This image shows the view of West Side Park, shot from the roof of a neighboring building. This park became the first park in Champaign County in 1859. It is home to the annual Taste of C-U Festival each summer, as well as the historic "A Prayer for Rain" statue, dedicated in 1899, that sits in the central fountain.
